Altitude: 300 – 450 meters above sea level

Type of soil: Red soil, clay, floodplain, with a layer of limestone

Training system: Counter-Spurred cordon

Harvest: Manual harvest 2nd / 3rd decade of September

Vinification: maceration from 5 to 7 days

Fermentation: in vitrified cement tanks – 6 mt below  the ground

Ageing: stainless steel tanks for , 3 months in bottle

Alcohol content: alc. 14% vol

Tasting Notes

Appearance: deep red with violet reflections

Aroma: Intense hints  of red berry fruits ranging from wild blackberries to plums and cherries in spirits

Taste: Elegant and pleasant wine,with a balanced and soft tannin and a dry and pleasant finish

Food matches: ideal with red meats, game

Serving temperature: 15°C – 18°C

Storage: in a cool place, away from light and heat sources
